Charles Blanton is seen driving the carnage sponsored by the First National Bank in 1909. Left to right are pictured Millicent Blanton (Mrs. W.A. Thompson), Madge Webb Riley, Agnes McBrayer, and Mrs. Carl B. Thompson. The carriage was decorated with gold ribbon. You can see the dome of the new courthouse in the background as well as the water tower.
